This month's Obscuro isn't all that obscure, but he is worthy of note.  Jerry Goldsmith died in his sleep after a long battle with the Big C.  In his 75 years he scored over 200 films, including Visualnoiz faves like Planet of the Apes( the original, of course!) Alien, Poltergeist, Gremlins (big props!),  the Twilight Zone, Man From U.N.C.L.E., and his Oscar winning score for The Omen.  Check http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000025/ for more info on Jerry Goldsmith.  I think I'll go watch Gremlins....
