Some of you may know that I've put together a backing band, known as the Marvin The Robot Experience. It consists of Danielle Kelly on drums and Matt Forney on keyboards. Prepair for a richer, louder, more unpredictable sound from your favorite neighborhood rhyme slinger. If you think you know about Marvin The Robot, you really don't.

The MTR Experience will be unveiling itself Thursday August 21st at Cafe Bourbon Street. Think of it as a warm up for the CDR BBQ weekend.

I'm really loooking forward to next week. Danielle and I are playing several times, the two most awesome are going to be the shows I'm playing for Bike To Work Week.

Friday, I'll be out in front of the Wexner Center at 15th and High, with special guests including Andy Miller.

Saturday night, we'll be rocking the afterparty for the Junctionview Bike Arts show.

I'll be playing two sets of bike themed songs, that has loosely be referred to as the bike opera.

So I haven't been keeping up with my typical on-line lifestyle.

I recently rebuilt my computer. I switched from Windows XP to Ubuntu 7.10 Linux operating systems. There was a learning curve, and a extreme case of bit torrentitess.

Anyway, I'm back now, playing lots of shows, and working on new music. Check out some of the upcoming show dates! Danielle Kelly is playing drums with me again,. She broke her leg about six weeks ago, but is back in action now.

Racist Joe Begins Career As Posthumus Rapper

The city of Columbus was recently shocked the sudden death of beloved EmCee, DJ, and neighbor Daymon Dodson, aka So What and Racist Joe.

Daymon's good cheer, compasion, and quick wit made him a favorite to all who encountered him. In life, Racist Joe never achieved the pop stardom many would argue he rightfully deserved. In death though he is following in the footsteps of Tupac, Biggie, and Jeff Buckely.

Since his death in late August, there have been over four massive events held in his honor, including a parade and the decliration of an informal holiday. Benefits shows were held to raise the money needed to finish his up coming record, and he's even been making apperances in murals in Brooklyn, as seen here.

Long time friend and fellow graph guru Wes Flexner said on te subject "daymon would've found this really funny."
