Ok. My friend, Bryna sent me here and it was pretty cool, well actually she said...
Hey Dan, check out this site for a very cool overview of Detroit's
legendary psychedelic warriors. I've had the pleasure of meeting and
hanging out with some of these fine people. Scott Morgan ws recently out
here recording for our label, and Steve Farmer spent a couple weeks as
my houseguest while recording with my band. A memorable experience!
                Cheers,
                  Bryna

Bryna is coming around, yay!
We're supposed to meet up in Chicago or Detroit, we'll see what happens, eh?
It should prove to be fun.

As per Ryan Campell's suggestion, I picked up David Crosby "I can't remember my name" - It's decent. I really dig one of the tracks that has Steven Stills, Graham Nash, Grace Slick, Paul Kanter, Jorma K. It's a really cool tune. I also picked up something that came out 2 weeks ago, but it's not new. Mustard Plug re-issued 'skapocalypse now' on CD, with extra live tracks that weren't on the tape. Dave promised me he would sign a photograph so I could give it to Chrissy, who's CRAZY about him (and the band) I haven't done that yet, maybe he forgot. He was supposed to drop by kinko's and see me but he never did. oh well.
Cool! I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Bomp Records. That's my new thing. They are cool, primarily mail order. I got a Spacemen 3 CD and some indie Detroit band LPs from the 80s. I'm stillng In Space.

I have been listening to OK Computer and I Can't Remember My Name almost non-stop. They are both so good! ICRMN is far too short, but oh well. David Crosby kicks ass.

Today I picked up Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in space. An interesting ride.  I am getting crazy about RADIOHEAD and Catherine Wheel - Adam and Eve. I got The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds Sessions, that's really good. I picked up the new Lisa Loeb. I only like the single so far. Maybe it will grow on me. I should have bought Clutch instead. That's about it. But even bad music becomes fodder gift material to give to my sister. 85% of what she likes is bad music.
